Terms of Service
Effective July 24, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern an office's access to and use of OfficeCallback, an AI phone answering service for clinics and offices. By signing up for or using OfficeCallback, an office ("you," "the office") agrees to these Terms.
The service
OfficeCallback connects to an office's existing phone line and answers calls the office doesn't pick up. It responds to callers in a natural voice, books appointments, takes messages, and sends the office a text or email with the details. OfficeCallback is a call-handling tool, not a replacement for the office's own judgment about what work it can perform or when.
Accounts and subscriptions
- An office must provide accurate business and contact information to set up an account.
- Subscriptions are billed on the plan and schedule agreed to when the office signs up, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- The office is responsible for the accuracy of the services, hours, and booking rules it configures OfficeCallback to offer callers.
- The office is responsible for keeping its account and phone-forwarding setup secure, and for notifying us of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
An office agrees not to:
- Use OfficeCallback for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, mislead, or defraud callers.
- Route calls to OfficeCallback that it isn't authorized to handle on behalf of the business.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its underlying systems.
- Resell or provide the service to another business without our written consent.
We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe violates this section.
Limitation of liability
OfficeCallback's responses to callers are generated by AI. While we work to make it accurate and reliable, an AI-generated response may occasionally misunderstand a caller, book something incorrectly, or miss information a human would have caught. We do not guarantee that any booking, message, or answer given by OfficeCallback will be complete or error-free, and the office remains responsible for confirming appointment details with patients.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OfficeCallback and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost revenue, missed appointments, or patient disputes — arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount the office paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Termination
An office may cancel its subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, a violation of these Terms, or misuse of the service, and will make reasonable efforts to notify the office first except where the misuse requires immediate action. Upon termination, we will stop answering calls for the office's number and handle any remaining data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
If these Terms change, we'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify office owners directly.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Province/State], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
